Positives - No additional outlet needed as it uses USB for power; Netflix profiles (not avaiable on my older Roku models); Negatives - Slower startup (linked to TV power); remote connection sometimes slow

I cut the cord on my expensive cable bill when I bought my Roku Streaming Stick. It is so easy to use and there are so many choices of entertainment available! Love it!!

Great idea but device overheats and loses signal

I bought this solely for hotel use when I travel. Although the device is portable, it overheats QUICKLY and often loses its WiFi signal (and sometimes even reboots) when it gets too hot. Unfortunately, it's too unreliable to recommend, despite loving Roku channel market. Hopefully a new version of streaming stick is released in 2016 that addresses these issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
