It's OK, we like it, but I don't like the fact that I have to unplug it from electric power & then plug back in every time we want to use! We always get the unauthorized thing across the TV & no one has our account codes!

I bought this about a month ago since we liked the Roku 2 so much but have exhausted every effort (besides calling tech support) to get the remote to work. We've finally just decided to use the Roku app on our phones instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This stick is pretty cool. Wish it had a way to save favorite channels and a voice search!!
Its really annoying tho, tons of apps i cant figure out how to use. I suggest a roku 3 or other option

Great investment

I have had a Roku upstairs for 2 years an LOVE IT. I bought one for my son an he is enjoying all the diverse programing it has made available to him. There is nothing like it. You miss your favorite show on Friday, no worries, watch it on Saturday with Roku. The many kinds of programs an foreign films open up a whole new viewing experience. You do not need regular TV service just the internet.
