I have had the stick around a month, unless it is in the room with the WiFi it doesn't work. Extremely disappointed with this particular product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got a second streaming stick

We cut the cable over a year ago and bought a Roku 2, liked Roku so much we got a streaming stick for the bedroom tv. Lately have had a few problems we couldn't solve with the Roku 2 so replaced it with another Streaming stick on our main tv. Great products, especially now that we can stream some programs live, such as the Super Bowl, and the debates.

Fast and Easy way to watch movies and shows!

I received my Roku stick as a Christmas gift. My children know (1) I'm not tech savvy (2) I had to disconnect tv and plug in another device to use Netflix. Now all I have to do is click my remote. Initial setup was time consuming but that was probably me more than Roku. I love my Roku! Highly recommend. And I just received email for two theme screen savers. And there was an added Valentine's theme.

Easy to set up!

We now have 4 tv's in our house hooked up to Roku devices. The streaming sticks are so straight forward and take up no space at all! I have not noticed any performance issues, it streams all of our services without and buffering or glitches! I can't say that about other non Roku products we have used prior!

Great Device

I heard about the Roku from a family member and decided to try it out with basic model stick and it's actually pretty simple and awesome. Also gaining more channel feeds is way more simple than the other devices I have in my humble abode.
