Good product, bad wifi

Despite being slow and not very quick to respond, the stick is a good product, since it can turn an old tv, or a tv without wifi capability into a smart tv. The problem is the wifi that is really bad: even if it not far away from the modem, the connection is really bad, and that leads to some buffering while watching some contents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this Roku thinking everything would work smoothly it's a basic unit however the remote does not always work like it should and it does become very frustrating

I installed this to my guest bedroom tv monitor, and I'm very impressed at how simple it was to accomplish. We are definitely a Roku family!

Not so good.

At first I thought something was wrong with the remote. Seemed forever to work. Changed the batteries three times. Got up went to the plugged in device, still all I could get was " Roku" bouncing around and the screen like air hockey. Held the home button for full five minutes. Finally I got my Netflix. Next time, the same thing. Now I know why the guy at Walmart said, if you don't like it you can bring it back. Gave it to my grandson. He says its too slow to watch tv, but Pandora works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this just to try it out for my kids room. Best decision ever. Easy to use, great channel apps for my kids. Actually i might buy a couple more.
