Love the Netflix Button

We love the Roku streaming stick. It is easy to install and use. There are convenient buttons for Netflix and Amazon. We cut the cable cord 2 months ago and have NO regrets. We tired a fire stick and just prefer the ease of use of the roku better.

Been using ROKU for 2 months, I love it. Only problem is that the roku remote only worked for a day and has not worked since.

It's an adjustment

I am pleased for the most part, but wish I could get better live programming from the 3 major networks and also missing some of my favorite shows on PBS BBC comedies. Occasionally programs are interrupted with uploads, etc. I'm sure I'll adjust to this new way of home entertainment.

should have on & off switch. NO direction for setting up home theater system's on receivers. The Extractor's poor for setting up surround sound.

pretty easy to use

Got as a gift, I have been previously using Google Chromecast at home. But sometimes the connection between my phone and chromecast weren't connecting and I was interested to see how the roku worked. Initially I loved it! Although the setup with each app and channel was tedious. But once that was done, I had no problems with the roku. I have since notices that for some reason an certain apps/channels even after I set it up, after a while it makes me setup up again or logs me out. That is annoying to have to setup every time you use an app. I wish there were more apps channels like VH1, WeTV or Oxygen but roku has most of the channels i watch.

Slow to respond compared to Roku 3

I own a Roku 2, Roku 3 and two Roku Streaming sticks. I'm rather disappointed in the response of the Roku stick. If I'd have known how slow it was compared to the Roku 3, I would have spent the extra money and bought the Roku 3. Plus, the Roku 3 remote has the ability to plug headphones into it so you don't have to disturb the whole family when watching Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
