So easy and affordable!

I love the Roku. We recently got Netflix but could only watch from 1 tv with the Wii hooked up. Now I can put the Roku on any tv and we are watching in minutes. Took about 5 minutes to install and we were good to go!

I bought this for my parents and got myself one, we use ours almost everyday!
I love how easy it is to take anywhere! I just need the roku annd remote, then I just use my cellphone (Android) charger to power it!

A Wonderful Gift

My daughter bought this as a Christmas gift. We set it up together and it took a bit of time, but we did it all at once. The one I have is basic, but works fine for me. I've enjoyed reviewing channels and found myself watching movies and shows I never heard of. I didn't get cable TV when I moved into my new place as I'm not a huge TV watcher, but I do like ROKU's wide selection of free channels, and being able to select pay ones that fit my tastes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It seems to run down batteries frequently and is not functional immediately. It needs some type of re-flash or awake/boot up feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thing is amazing. I was finally able to cut the cord from Comcast and it feels wonderful! I don't miss cable at all and can watch whatever I want, whenever I want. I also got rid of my old stereo and just use my TV with Pandora for whole house music. My only complaint is how small the remote it - actually, not how small it is, but how small the buttons are and it sure would be nice if they lit up. Finding pause, fast forward or reverse can be a real challenge in the dark!

I bought the Roku for the TV in the bedroom because my wife likes to watch TV in the bedroom. The Roku has locked up twice and each time I disconnected the power source it starting working again. Jury still out on this product!
