Just What I Wanted!

I had an HDTV in my room but with no access to Netflix. My ROKU TV in the family had great features, spa and Netflix. Buying the ROKU Stick was the perfect solution that gave me the same great features on my not so smart TV in the bedroom. Now I am happy!

We bought the stick to replace a first generation Apple TV that was constantly bugging out. The stick is very easy to use and set up, we'll never go back to cable. Tons of channels and features, there's something for everyone to watch, from toddlers to sports junkies, Roku has it all!

I bought this with the intention of using it while travelling. I have not had the chance to test it in that instance yet, but connecting it at home gave me the dreaded "HDCP Unauthorized. Content Disabled" error message when trying to view a channel that others on the forum have come across. While I have not had a chance to try out the various fixes for this, this should not be happening in the first place. My earlier model Roku 2 does not have this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i'v wanted a roku device for years but bought a smart tv instead, if i had a choice(wife)would have bought an up to date 1080p tv(non-smart) an a roku device, this makes my smart-tv smarter hehehe was purchased for our bedroom tv which isnt smart but we have blueray player with internet content, but like headline states ROKU ROCKS! best investment u can make for ur home entertainment, which us old folks and young can enjoy with ease!

I have had the Roku steaming device for approximately two months. It was easy to install. I had a couple of technical difficulties with the remote and the streaming. Overall I'm glad to have it.
