I bought the streaming stick to add Roku subscriptions access to my daughter's TV. Setup was very easy and we were watching streamed content in minutes.

We are extremely pleased with our Roku stick. This is the second one that we have purchased. (For different tvs) it was easy to set up, is easy to use and we have had zero problems with the system. In fact, we generally use it daily.

Somewhat Confusing

Although there are many offerings from the ROKU Streaming Stick, I find it difficult to assemble all of the channels that I currently enjoy since they must come from many different sources which are not at all transparent in their offerings. I wish it were easier to assemble the necessary components into a useful source.

New Stick

I bought the Roku stick because I needed the newer version of Netflix that offered closed captioning. It does come with a lot of nice features and channels. The user interface is intuitive and simple to navigate. The only thing that could be improved is the speed at which it responds to commands. There is a one to two second delay between making selections and it displaying that selection.

Better than any Smart TV or BluRay with apps

I've not only bought two sticks for myself, but for relatives as well because I liked mine so much. . . . at first. I've had glitches setting up only one of the 4 I bought, but the Roku help desk fixed the issue within minutes. One that was already set up wouldn't connect to a Comcast WiFi router made by the manufacturer Arris, and I had to change a bunch of security settings to connect the Roku Stick, which then made my wireless printer not work. If I had to do it over again, I'd find a way to get an Ethernet cable to a Roku 3 or 4 instead of using the WiFi-only Stick.

I have had a Roku box for several years. I bought a Amazon streaming stick for convenience, and didn't like it. I then bought the Roku streaming stick and found it was much easier to use and was very happy with my purchase.
