Wonderful invention!!

I purchased my first roku stick 15 months ago & have bought2 more for gifts. I have NO complaints. It is too simple to connect, remote is simple, has a downloadable roku remote for your Android or iPhone, has 100's of apps (some for a fee such as Netflix) but lots are free, there's something for everyone, movies, TV programs both current & past, cooking, crafting, home repair, education, mazes, games, puzxles. Way too many to mention. My 9 grandchildren, 3-14 years old, all love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

HDMI plug breaking after 60 days

the streaming service is awesome only if they construct the streaming stick better than they have , the hdmi portion of stick is about to break from poor assembly it was not constructed well, handle with care!!!!!!

Complete dissapointment

I bought this after owning a Roku 2 which I loved and this was comple trash. It was slow to respond and the remote only worked speratically even after changing the batteries and going through the trouble shooting steps several times. Even when it did work there was a massive delay before the unit responded. In short this was a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do Your Homework

My bad. I didn't do my homework and no my family is mad at me. In order to get all their favorite shows we are paying just as much as cable to get Roku channels. Maybe I'm missing something, but streaming is truly for a family that agrees on shows. Not for a family that enjoys "channel surfing" to see what's on right then.

Easy install, works great

I have had the Roku Stick for one month now. It was very simple to install and I have had no issues with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and You Tube (which are what I use the most - though I will be checking out some other channels, soon). It also has a feature which allows me to view pictures and videos that are stored on my home computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this item. After purchasing a Roku TV for my bedroom, I had to have Roku in the living room. Awesome features, plenty of selections for you viewing pleasure. So good, I'm thinking of cutting my cable , and going with Roku and my wifi.
