Small and easy to hook up, but seem slow

I've had a roku before this, but got the stick as a 2nd one for another TV. In general I'm very happy with the ROKU and the stick is nice as it is small and doesn't take up much space. The only downside is that it seem to be slow at processing commands, even compared to my 4 year old Roku unit. This might prompt me to buy the bigger Roku (I think it #3) with the faster processor if I had to do it again.

I had the Amazon model and it just was not compatible with my Sony Bravia 2009 TV. This one was perfect.

Awesome channel selection

Our Roku stick has been the best thing to happen to us tv wise. It has a lot of channels to choose from that are free (best price :) and you can control it all from a little remote, or any of your electronic devices!

Great for Short Term Watching

I use this for my bedroom TV, usually for a quick show before bed or after waking up if I'm too lazy to get out of bed on a weekend morning. And it's great for that purpose! But recently I was bedridden and went on a 30 Rock binge-watching marathon on Netflix, and after watching several episodes the unit locked up and ultimately rebooted twice within an hour. Not sure if it was overheating or just bad luck. The remote is also a little sketchy and stops working for several minutes at a time. Luckily Roku has an app that allows you to control the stick through your smartphone.

We have had our stick since October and we are really enjoying it. We don't even know what it can do besides Netflix and Youtube yet.
