This is my second stick. I don't know what happened to my other one, it just keeps buffering. This one hasn't messed up so far, so I'm pleased thus far. Not as speedy as my roku 3, but gets the job done.

It locks up and requires resetting regularly. It has no way of powering it off without unplugging the stick from its power source and the television completely. I don't dislike it enough to be unsatisfied with it, I'm just disappointed in the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I. Made a great choice when I selected Roku streaming stick. I am never bored. Its an investment for me I am savings tons of money. Think about this payments never go up like cable bills do. Your in charge.l

Iffy Remote

Roku stick works great but, the remote does not. Have to remove and re-install battery almost every time I need to use it. Have done all suggestions recommended in troubleshooting guide and the remote still does not work as it should.

Hidden!

I got this about a month ago because my "smart" TV does not work so well. I've had the original Roku for a few years now so I knew when I was ready that I would purchase another Roku. My decision was made easy by the fact that the remote is "point anywhere". This means that the stick is totally hidden behind the TV and it is not a problem changing channels or anything, remotely!
I would recommend this to a friend!

my new roku stick

I am very disappointed with the video quality I am experiencing while watching my favorite Netflix program. There is random buffering (at least 3-4 times) during the program. My High Definition goes in and out (at least 5-6 times) during a 30 minute episode. I am a recent subscriber of Roku. Not sure how long I will actually remain a subscriber if te above were to continue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
