Great cable alternative!

Purchased Roku stick two months ago and love it! We are able to watch all of the shows we did when we had cable, with Sling TV option added. We are saving over $700 per year!

Love the stick better then the box! The box overheats and I have had to replace cord for it. With the stick it is so easy to plug in and get started and switch to a if you need to. Definitely worth the money!

Strong WIFI antenna makes it possible to stream when laptop has very weak signal. Channels are responsive with no annoying lag. Works fantastic as a Sling Catcher.

Bought this for a bedroom TV that sees only moderate-light use and it happened to NOT be a smart TV (ie, with Netflix, Hulu, etc., all built in). Pluses..it's small and the WiFi connectivity was good (my router is only one room over). Negatives: 1) the power cord is a little short 2) if you only have 2 HDMI ports like I had, the Roku stick is fat enough to where you might not be able to have a standard HDMI cable and the Roku stick plugged directly in. I had to buy an HDMI extension cord (I found a short little pigtail on eBay that works pretty good) to have everything plugged in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does all it is supposed to do and more. Better than Chromecast. I can "throw" my phone contents onto the screen easily. The whole thing is absurdly easy. Spend what little money it costs and don't look back. You'll never regret it.....

The biggest concern I had was streaming because n the rural area we live we no not have high speed internet. However the stream has bee fantastic and reception quality is excellent.

I bought it two weeks ago. I was reluctant at first because I had never used a stick. but it worked great! Just like the Roku Player. Great power and speed! I'm glad I bought it!
