The product is very misleading.

I was under the impression after buying the stick that the TV stations would be free. After hooking it up I found that I needed to use my credit card and pay for some of it. I felt that I was mislead and I have told everyone about it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It worked good for a month. Then it would keep returning to home screen. It would be in the middle of playing a movie and then jump back to the ROKU screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased my Roku Stick about a month ago. I now watch my Roku exclusively, or listen to streaming music. It's a great tool! I have many features yet to discover!

Very Happy with Streaming Stick

Recently purchased a ROKU streaming stick in order to "cut the cord" from my high DirecTV bill. Currently subscribed to Hulu and Netflix. Also have PBS app- programming there is free. Very happy with the stick and available apps so far. May purchase a ROKU 2 for family room, but right now streaming through a Blue Ray Player. The ROKU offers a MUCH better variety of apps than any of the other competitors I have found. Love the search feature which searches across platforms for shows or actors that I may want to see.
