I had a Roku at home and bought this for a second home even though I had a "smart" TV. Rook was much more versatile and familiar.

Slow with remote...

I bought it because my roku 1 went into a coma after 2-3 years of use. The stick is faster than my old roku towards the end of its life, but not anywhere as fast as Roku 3 (which I use in a different room). But most irritating is the fact that the roku stick doesn't respond to the remote promptly. I'd recommend spending a bit more on Roku3 instead.

Great content

The Roku stick has a lot of great content, easy to setup however the stick is very slow to respond and the remote that I have is either defective or generally slower than other remotes. I need to take the batteries out every once in a while to have it reset and respond.

Works just fine

I had purchased a streaming stick in my old residence where the wifi apparently wasn't strong enough to reach the stick on the floor above, but this time, in an apartment, the stick works just fine. I am able to access Netflix, HBO Go, Showtime Anytime, Amazon, etc., with HD quality picture. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because when I want to go backward or forward, it only shows movement on the time bar, not the picture on screen, so I have to guess if I have reached to scene I wanted. Other than that I highly recommend the stick so long as you have a strong wifi signmal.

I bought this so that friends could watch some quality television in the guest bedroom when they visit. It works perfectly and I could not be happier. Would DEFINITELY do it again.

Stick has issues with remote

The stick gets stuck, like the remote is not working sometimes. It is just slow to respond I think. I would not buy this again.
