This does exactly what I hoped it would. I am able to easily move this device between televisions and use the USB port on the TV for a power source so it makes it really easy to plug up and turn on. No digging around behind furniture or baseboards looking for a plug in.
I work 150 miles from where I live and wind up staying away from home 3 days a week. In addition I travel a lot just for enjoyment and having this Roku Stick makes being away from home tolerable. Wherever I am I can just plug in my stick and immediately have access to everything I can view at home. Easy to carry, and easy to use, what more could I ask for? Other than a carrying case that is, but I found one the right size easily enough. P.S. I have two other Roku boxes and love them too.
More video that I will see in a life time.(This is 8 characters too short but I have nothing more to add to this review unless this is the place where I should reveal that I have not used the Roku stick since I purchased it - but I like the simplicity of the design. This should be enough words to get this darn thing posted. If not then I won't post a review at all)
This small device is inexpensive, reliable, and intuitive. It delivers on the promises one reads on the box and is, by these standards, an excellent purchase.
I keep getting this code when I turn on TMC. You have to keep go back in and out to finally get it to pull up the stations. You have any ideas why this is happening? Other than that I like the product.
I bought this product because my TV did not have installed applications and to save money because I do not want the cost of cable. The ROKU was so very easy to set up! I love the free shows and movies. The ROKU helps me save 600.00 a year by not having cable!
I've had the Roku for a month. It was very easy to install and get familiarized with. Prior to that I was streaming using a DVD player interface. I've discovered that, although the Roku is interesting and easy to use, I've not yet found anything new in terms of programming and movie services that is of relevance to my needs and interests. But things get changed and updated. I trust that something of interest will come in the future.
