I wish I bought this a long time ago. It's so portable for those on a budget. You. can move it from the front room to the bedroom quickly. Very user friendly. Dump the cable!!!

Bought a month ago, travel a lot otherwise would returned it. Almost every time the remote does not work unless I remove the batteries and reinsert.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible Device

I bought this to replace my Roku 3 which met with an untimely accident while traveling. I thought this stick would be easier to carry around, and it was. However, as soon as you begin to use it, you realize that it is a grossly underpowered device with ample amounts of lag and stuttering. Apps like Netflix can take up to a minute to open if it doesn't crash somewhere in the middle of opening. If this had been my first foray into Roku devices, it would have ruined me, in fact it still almost did until I gave in and bought the 4. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash on the better models instead of getting this dud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roku: cool gadget, Netflix, YouTube, is a plus, most apps are a waste of time, this should get better as time goes by, CBSN is a (good) new 24/7 news channel, we should have access to BBC and RT feed as well, to name a few.

I have hadi 4 rokus over the last 3 years. One stopped working and they replaced it cause it wasn't past a year. So that makes the second one I had after the a year it completely stopped working. Thankfully I bought a TV that came with a roku that one is doing great still. So I wanted one in my room so I bought a roku stick for my room and it's been great besides it freezes every now and then but I just bought it so we will see how long it lasts. I still love it better than other ones
