I have three Roku boxes. I am very happy with the product. I have a question regarding the Stick...since my sound system does not go through my projector (which has an HD input, is there a way to use this device?
This is my first experience with Roku. After three days, I love it. Connecting to the Streaming Stick was VERY easy. Roku walks you through the process and it took about 10 minutes. CAVEAT: Adding all your account information takes a little time, but you only have to do it once. If you add channels that you don't already have subscriptions for, you will have to go online and create them. Additionally, you may need to get activation codes and enter them into the various websites. This isn't hard to do, you only have to do it once, and Roku easily walks you through the process. For this reason, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE ROKU REMOTE APP. The app connects easily to the stream stick and gives you full QWERTY keyboard options to enter all your passwords/account data. It is free and very helpful even if you only use it for set up. Video quality has been very good. It isn't quite as crisp as my regular FiOS HD picture, but it is pretty good nonetheless. NOTE: The stream stick default setting is 720p, you can change that in "settings" to 1080p. Lag time on the remote is extremely slight. YouTube does take a while to launch (30 seconds or so), but once you're in the app, there is little-to-no lag time. Search capabilities work perfectly. PROS: 1) easy to set up 2) vast channel library 3)great search function CONS: 1) some small remote lag times 2) small reduction in picture quality 3) No ability that I can see to rearrange your channels on the home screen 4) no full webcasting so I can cast any webpage to my TV. In the end, if you aren't an Apple Fanboy and/or if you use Amazon Instant Video, this is a great option. If AMC ever offers a Roku channel (so I can watch the last night's Walking Dead) I would likely cut cable!!
I like this a lot. It's out of sight and works pretty well. There are some issues with some channels not coming up properly (e.g. Disney Junior) but they might be fixing that. The device gets an update over the air as soon you you plug it in and connect to the internet. Make sure you have that happens cause I think that solves a bunch of problems. Overall, can't beat it for the price!
This is hands down the best streaming device, period! Easy to setup, easy to use, and the price is like the cherry on top! It blows the Chromecast out of the water in every way! I can't believe this little device, the size of a USB thumb drive has so much streaming content! I can't wait for Wrestlemania 30 on the WWE Network this Sunday! Thank you Roku!
This is our second Roku! Now we have one on each TV. I like the stick because there is only one cable needed (microUSB to power it) and you can't see it when plugged behind TV. Great product design!
I was hesitant when I first ordered this item but I have been nothing but ecstatic since I installed this product. I was afraid the HD image would not be displayed but the picture is flawless. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend.
I was part or the preorder group and just got mine!! Overall it is one great device. I was NOT expecting to have a power cable come with it! Guess I was thinking it could be powered with just the hdmi output.. BUT I LOVE it and for the price I can't complain!!
NOTE to app developers: MaxGo, StarzPlay, ShowtimeAnytime and MaxGo need to be TOP priority!! Or else I will be developing a reversed engineered versions and selling them myself! Cant be much harder than developing an android app.. :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for the support and the pre-order!! We encourage you to reach out to your favorite networks to develop or improve their Roku apps. It's users like you who show them how great Roku is!
