This is a great streaming stick. Some of the negative reviews online stated that this version of roku was slow to load. I however don't feel that way at all. I have been really impressed with all the content. Well worth the $50 investment.

Did a bunch of research before buying, got it to stream MLB.TV so I don't have to shell out $60 each year for a XBox360 Live Gold Card. I don't mind that it takes time to boot up, I keep it plugged in (I knew it required power since I read that in the description of my review.) to a wall socket behind my TV so the cables don't show.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my third Roku. { I gave one to my Son in Law when I purchased my newest one]. I really like the STICK, BUT there IS NO WAY TO REGISTER IT ON AMAZON. I have tried re-installing the Amazon Prime, but their NO Roku Streaming Stick on Amazon's WEB site when I have the other devices registered...It would NOT register for the site so I can get FREE MOVIES..Please ROKU get that fixed

Roku stick

I bought the stick thinking all I had to do was insert it into the HDMI port on my Sony TV which is wall mounted. I didn't realize I had to plug it into a 120 volt power outlet which isn't available behind my TV. None of their advertising shows the power pack that is included with the stick and is necessary in order to make it work. I had to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Small footprint but lacking

The ROKU stick is a great idea but most HDTV's shut off the USB port on powering down. Thus, every time you turn on the TV the ROKU requires several minutes to reboot. The only way to keep the ROKU stick powered on for faster access is to use the power cord which is supplied but not clearly described in the marketing description. Had I known the this deficiency, I would have definitely gone for the ROKU 2 which is the same price and offers more versatility for connection to different devices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 8th ROKU device......................BEST FOR ANYONE WHO LOVES UNLINMTED ENTERTAINMENT

I have two of them, would recomment it to everyone. Only thing I don't like is the search application. Can you make it easier to type in the search bar?

Look at and measure your HDMI ports before you BUY

I love my ROKU 1.. But thought this one would be the solution for no hanging wires on my wall mounted TV...It wont fit! The HDMI ports area is concaved and tthe length of the ddevice is about 1 inch too long with the power cord! SOmeone here mentioned an extension? IF all f your ports and the USB port are on the side you should be OK! I can't say anything about how this works or doesn't because IT DOESNT FIT! I am so dissappointed!
