It has taken me a while to get into using my Roku Streaming Stick, since I have multiple TiVo units that I rely on. This past weekend, though, my TiVo ran out of program data for no good reason. A reboot fixed it, but not until after TiVo failed to record Saturday Night Live. Okay, fine. So I signed up for Hulu Plus and it was really easy to watch it on the Roku. I found the interface to Hulu Plus unnecessarily complicated, but Roku simplifies things as much as it can. And of course for some reason the Roku picture is way clearer (streaming) than the TiVo picture (recorded from cable). I can't figure that out, but no complaints. I love it!
Great device. I use it everyday. No complaints except for the fact it does not come with an extender. Does get tiresome to have to rearrange the input cables every time I use it because of the lack of space behind my TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're glad you're enjoying your Streaming Stick. If you need an HDMI extender, please visit http://www.roku.com/support-hdmi to submit a request, and we will get one out to you right away!
I bought about 6 or 7 Weeks ago, and I love it It is a little slower than the3 but ,it has its advantages you can almost hide it when you plug it in the side USB, download the APP and no remote either, you got a smart TV, the interface is way above and better than any of them .
Even in concept, an HDMI stick is a great idea. I'd say the only downside to this device is that it requires external power, but every TV I've used this on has powered USB ports so I have no need to power the stick from a 110v source. The content is amazing, and I'm constantly finding new channels to explore. I even bought a second so I don't have to migrate the device between TVs. The only way this could be better is to have the headphone option on the remote that comes with this.
Bought to replace over rated apple TV and am loving it. Setup was a little time consuming but easy. With plex channel and plex server I was able continue streaming my media from pc like I did with iTunes and apple TV. Android and iPhone is compatible so it very versatile. I was glade to see a Amazon channel and many more that apple don't want its customers to have. I like that it is hides behind mu tv out site out of mind. I will say its not as fast as apple tv load times sometimes tad bit longer but for price well worth the trade. I am overly happy with this purchase.
Have been waiting for the Roku Stick to come out and bought two as soon as I could. I love my other Roku device and was excited to have a smaller, more concealable device to use on other TV's. I tried to install the stick on three TV's but was unable to even get the sets to recognize the sticks. My Wii-U would not work as long as the Roku Stick was plugged in to an HDMI slot. Tech support was unable to help. I finally gave up and returned the sticks. I will not buy more. Very disappointing.
The worked initially but I had lots of issues getting this to connect to the internet. Too many steps having to activate it online, etc. Bought Apple TV and it was super easy and works great.
Have been using this stick since it was released it's performed better than competitors products have for me, with way more to choose from. I experienced my first problem with it after 3 weeks of use. It seemed to have lost it's registration info. SO I'm in the process of a re-setup today. I really don't know if it was that I may have unplugged the power while it was booting or what exactly happened to cause this.
