Connectivity lags, and the Netflix app is constantly kicking me back to the main menu, in the middle of a show at times. Happens every 1/2 hour of viewing time, there are even some titles we still cant watch even after trying numerous times.
Works about half the time, not sure if mine's defective or if the hulu app is just broken. Sometimes can get through 2 episodes before it freezes/reboots. While writing this review i made it halfway through a spotify ad. Works about as good as an HDMI port on a stick can i guess...
Sooooooo slow and we have not been able to watch a full episode from huluplus or netflix! Thinking about returning for Apple TV. And it's not Internet connection because we can stream everything on our laptop and iPad just fine!
A clear steady connection, however a swiveling head on the hdmi would facilitate a tight installation better. Mine required a 90 degree adapter as the unit with power supply is fairly long. Netflix takes a little longer to load than on my previous generation roku 3. Programming however, loads readily and the connection is reliable. A longer power cord would be a nice feature as the one furnished seemed just a little short.
I installed my ROKU Streaming Stick today and: The setup up instructions were well written. Set up was easy and quick. The remote feels great and is well made, buttons are well labeled. The tab on the battery slide is a nice touch. Quality batteries were included (Duracell). The download streaming speed is a fraction of what I was using for streaming (DVD player with streaming capability). Overall, very happy with this product.
I bought 3 week back I am not happy with connectivity while I have 15mbps speed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love that I can haul this easily between the living room and the bedroom TVs. Good selection of channels. Easy to use/set up. My main motivation in getting it was to include Warner Archive streaming on my new TV that has only HDMI inputs (Warner is not yet available on streaming BluRay Players). It switches pretty easily between Amazon, Netflix, and the other channels. Others have mentioned that Netflix is slow to load, but this seems to be a universal Netflix issue on every streaming device I own. Also, was worried that I would have to use a remote control to enter a lot of long and complicated passwords, but the Roku gives a "code page" that you can use on your computer to link up accounts. The bad: -Rewind/FF aren't so much "search" as "move to particular time stamp." -Central search function only indexes Amazon, Netflix, and one or two others. I was really hoping Warner Archive was included in the indexing at the very least. -Hot buttons on the remote. I've only had the Roku for a week, but I have accidentally aborted films SEVEN times now because I picked up the remote a little too firmly and accidentally bumped the buttons at the bottom, which leads to my final gripe, which is that Warner Archive didn't remember that I was watching Kitty Foyle, nor could it remember where I was in the film (which is a Warner app issue, not a Roku issue).
