Great product

We have a Roku for every TV and we really love them. I recently purchased the stick and the only problem is it over heats and the screen freezes, but over all I like it. This has saved us so much money because we no longer have to rely on the cable company. It's great to have control of viewing choices and how much I want to spend. I would drop cable but need the local news. We were unable to pick anything up in the area with an antenna.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lifesaver On Vacations!

My family and I get a condo on the beach every year for a week. While most provide a moderate variety of channels, there is no guarantee there will be decent entertainment for the kids, and, being the father of twin, three-year old girls... this is a MUST! The one feature almost all the condos offer is free, high-speed, wireless internet.
So, I picked up one of these little devices for this year's vacation. It was simple to set up and easy to move from one television to another. Having both Netflix and Amazon Prime, the girls had plenty of choices to keep them occupied while not at the beach. I can't recommend this high enough if you have kids and plan on staying at a condo or in a hotel.
Great job, Roku!

Simple and Easy

Ordered this device on 7/11 and received 7/14, five minutes later I had it up and running. I took the provided USB cord to power the system. I like not having to mess with placing the box plus the cords are gone. Nice!

Streaming Stick not what expected

I have a Roku 3 and absolutely love it, but I hate to say it, the Roku Streaming stick that I bought about a week ago was a severe disappointment. Same great format, but super slow. It kept having issues connecting to my router and won't play a lot of my shows on applications like VUDO because it says my internet connection is too slow? My internet connection is the fastest Time Warner has available and I don't have this issue with my Roku 3 that is downstairs & extremely far from the router.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The best streaming device yet

I have been using the Roku 3 and it's a great streaming device. I purchased the Roku Streaming stick because I like the idea of the direct connection to the TV and using the USB from the TV to power it at the same time! Be sure you check your HDMI inputs to make sure they are not recessed into the back of the TV. This device could be too long with the Stick and the USB power cord that powers it too fit. Everything else is perfect!
