I would never want to be without it. Sometimes when I am bored I just sit and search out new channels to check out. It is impossible to run out of things to watch with this Roku. I like the Roku stck because of the convenience. I also have a Roku 2 but the with the Stick I don't have to worry about my cats knocking the box around. If you buy one you will never regret it.

It works flawlessly most of the time, but there are times when you'll need to contact Support. Don't know why, but if you're diligent and resourceful you'll get the issue resolved rather quickly. Can't beat it, especially for the price, but I'd be happy to pay more for a Device that requires no maintenance ever. lol
The good new is that I have watched more TV than ever before. The bad news is that I have watched more TV than ever before. But it does really expand my choices, and I probably watch better quality TV.
I wish I had never bought this Roku Stick. No one warned me that WiFi via this stick would be such a pain in the neck. I am constantly getting glitches because WiFi is not reliable and rather than telling customers that upfront they wait until the money has been spent ... If I get the money to buy another streaming TV device it will have to have an Ethernet port so I can actually watch a show without constant interruptions.
Have tried using the stick for a few months. Initially worked great. Have it linked to an older Toshiba TV in combination with Direct TV. Use it mostly to watch Netflix. Erased most of the stock channels to save space. But after a while the device starts to reset on its own regularly. Once this begins it needs to be rebooted to clear it out. Have had to do this multiple times. Frustrating. Firmware is up to date. Wouldn't buy it again.
We have the 2xs in our Living room and wanted to put one in our bedroom. after doing some research we discovered their was a new HDMI streaming stick that would be fast and easy in our bedroom, Easy to hook up and it was able to read and install all the channels from the living room unit. Both units are great and saves us tons of money in cable bills.
