So easy even your grandmother can work it.

This product is very easy to set up and to use. The instructions were clear and worked like a charm. Once installed using Roku was easy. I previously had been using our Wii to watch Netflix and HuluPlus on our TV.
My only complaint, and I'm not sure it's Roku's fault, is that some channels, such as TNT, that have web sites were you can watch full episodes if you log in with your cable provider, aren't available on Roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've already watched two seasons of "Downton Abbey," two great episodes of Hercule Poirot, and had my pick of excellent PBS children's programming for grandchildren. Extremely good buy.

Great product for the price

This was the third ROKU that I purchased. Now we have one for all of our TVs. We also have an Apple TV and the ROKU is comparable to the Apple TV. The selection of applications is great - we have Netflix and Hulu Plus and enjoy all of these along with the other selections that are available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keeps crashing and takes forever to load

Roku worked fine when I just got it. Within 3 uses, it started crashing and taking forever to load. Too bad at that point, a month passed so I couldn't even return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great replacement for cable

We bought 3 of the Roku sticks for our kids when we decided to get rid of cable. We have not regretted it. We love the easy plug and play model and access to all different channels. The only drawback is that we are not using our iphones to control it so its a pain when doing searches and having to enter the information.

Good concept, needs work

I am an avid Roku user - this is my second Roku but my first streaming stick! For the positives, I will say that it is extreme convenient and portable, and I've always loved all of the channels offered on Roku. For the negatives, there are a few things I wish would be fixed. I have to connect it to the internet every time I use it in my house, it doesn't ever connect automatically. The remote usually doesn't work without pressing the buttons 6 or 7 times, even when I have perfect WiFi. My final complaint is that it freezes VERY often and I am forced to unplug the power source and restart it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
