I have had my Roku for a few months now. I take it with me when away form home and it's great to get to see my favorite shows anytime/anywhere. It is easy to set up and easy to use.

Works Great

We have been using this for several weeks. We have a ROKU 2 unit on another TV so were quite familiar with the product. I have this new stick drawing power from the USB port of the TV. This causes the ROKU to have to go through a reset each time the TV is turned on. That is not a problem as it just takes a couple of minutes. I may reconfigure it to run from the wall outlet in the near future to avoid this minor issue.

Nice, but please make it start faster

I bought the stream stick to replace the first gen Roku box for my bedroom TV. I love that I can just plug it directly into the TV without any AC wires. I also love the Windows Phone app that controls it. My main complaint is that it takes a while to start up. This is only an issue when I just turned on the TV. The RF controller is a mixed bag. When it works, it works well. Sometimes, however, I have trouble getting it working. Also, without IR I can't use my universal remote to control the unit. If you could add Miracast support, then the other issues would be much easier to tolerate.

I have both the Roku HDMI stick as well as the traditional Roku box. I like the HDMI better because I don't have a box that I have to aim at to get to where I want to go. Over all I enjoy both of my Roku's. However, when I do upgrade to another flat screen I will be getting another Roku HDMI.

The Roku stick gives the same shows in my bedroom that my Roku box does in my living room. I am saving huge amounts cable bills. Thank you!
