I bought one for my invalid mother because the box said all you need is a wireless router and hmd plug.

With all the apps available, finding your favorite shows/movies is easy. I've had to soft reboot it once because it got stuck on the screen saver. The only drag is remembering the passwords and re-logging in again. The stick is easy to move from TV to TV within a house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was debating whether to buy the Roku 2, but then I saw the Roku Streaming Stick. I had read that it might not work on all TVs and the employee at the store told me the same thing and suggested I shouldn't buy it. I am so glad I did. It was a great price and it works totally perfect on my TV, which is about five years old. I love it and the features that it has.
I would recommend this to a friend!

it freezes all the time and i have to constantly unplug it and start it over. it sucks that you cant watch hbo or showtime or any of the other channels if you dont have a cable provider, it was the whole point of me wanting roku so i didnt have to pay for services.

Have been looking into a device to access netflix. Easy to install and simple to use (my 4 year old granddaughter quickly learned how to use)

Owned the "stick" for several months and it works great. I like the idea of a small plug-in device. I also have three other Roku devices and this stick performs as well as the other units. Very pleased with thid purchase.
