Great device, terrible remote

This works really great and adds a lot of value to my amazon prime membership. Awesome for keeping my kids entertained without commercials trying to sell them stuff all the time. The only thing I do not like about it is the remote control. Slow response time and very spotty trying to get it to work. Had to download an app for my phone and we use that now instead of the remote. Probably because my stick plugs in behind the screen, but that really should have been taken into account when making the remote.

What rocket surgeon decided to move the "OK" button out from the middle of the arrows? Stupid move.

We bought our 1st ROKU over a year ago to see if could get rid of paying for TV. Yes! We have an antenna (mohu) and our ROKU and couldn't be happier plus an xtra 120 in our pocket

We pre-ordered our ROKU Stick and when it arrived we installed it immediately. We found it a bit sluggish to commands, enough for us to not be sure it received them and issued a second try which often led us to a place that we didn't wish to be.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When we bought a new TV a couple of years ago, we also bought a Sony Blue-Ray player, both for discs and streaming Netflix, through U-Verse. However, from the very beginning, it was so aggravating that we finally gave up trying to watch Netflix entirely. I could never get anyone to figure out the problem, but Sony blamed U-Verse, and U-Verse blamed Netflix, and Netflix blamed Sony. Then I bought Roku! What a MARVELOUS bit of technology....truly a Piece of Cake. It is fabulous!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
