I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick about two months ago and have been very pleased with it. It was incredibly easy to set up and runs quickly enough for my purposes. In fact, I have not turned my cable on in over a month. The one small complaint I have is that it has frozen a couple of times (and fixes itself if I stop watching for a bit), which I really can't complain about considering I give it a run for its money in terms of usage. If you're looking for a fairly inexpensive, easy way to stream movies, television shows, etc., this is definitely the way to go. I've already recommended to a number of friends that are just as addicted to Netflix, HBOGo, etc.
I already have a traditional ROKU box. I got this so that both the bedroom and living room TVs had ROKU. However, the Roku Streaming stick is too weak to pick up our wifi in the livingroom. Our router is in the office next to the bedroom. so the streaming stick works in bedroom only, but not sufficient signal strength to pick up the wifi 2 rooms away.
This is my third Roku device. I have the original Roku, a Roku 3 and this streaming stick. The stick gets the job done, but takes a long time to load the programs. That said, the actually streaming is flawless. For example, it takes about 2 minutes to load initially and then another minute to get into Netflix.
