Inexpensive, reliable, convenient and ... slow

We have the Roku 3, too, and are amazed at all it packs in at that price. However, we were short on a back-of-the-TV HDMI slot and bought the stick to put in a side-of-the-TV HDMI slot. That solved all of our capacity problems, and we really do love the functionality of the Roku stick. Too bad it's so slow to start up, though.

Love it! TV on the go

I own a Comic Book Store, and I have the streaming stick plugged into the TV on the wall. It's a real workhorse, with Netflix, Amazon, and Plex we can play just about anything. before this we had tried a bunch of other solutions, none of them as seamless at the Roku Stick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does It All but...

I'm very pleased with Roku. It has a great UI and menu for easy navigation. I only wish that I could access all of my content. There is not a way(as far as I can tell) to stream any Google Play Movies content. If they add this it would be great. Otherwise I love the news feature the most and this is a great way to stream content from Amazon, Netflix or other Web streaming service providers .

Does not work correctly

Our family always loved ROKU, and what it did for us.
However, for the last 3 months, our remote does not communicate correctly with our Streaming Stick. We have rebooted, reconnected, upgraded our modem & rotor, changed batteries often, but we still can't get the remote to talk to the stick correctly. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. And we are only a few feet away from the TV & stick!

So I am sad to say that we are very unhappy with this ROKU product, even though our other 2 ROKU boxes work perfectly in other rooms for us.
