The streaming stick was our first Roku purchase. We use it for amazon prime, Netflix, pbd kids and to stream music. It is much easier to use and more reliable that the DVD integrated player we were using. Initial startup is a little long, but no issues once loaded. Love it!

Best Streaming Stick

Bought this to replace a ROKU 2 that we had since it's debut, Anyway, could not be happier. great interface quick and responsive. I have a Chrome Cast in another room that I had got before the Roku stick. No comparison - Roku wins easily!

This is a wonderful product. Very easy to use. And if you have an external problem, I recommend their on line chat as the best support. Raymond W. is wonderful. By the way, we only use Comcast now for internet service.

WiFi connection

We were experiencing difficulties with the built in WiFi receiver in our TV. It was very sporadic and sometimes did not allow us to finish watching what we'd started. Roku has been very reliable and dependable.

Installation & Compatibility Issues

Two days troubleshooting installation. Had to change my LAN configuration to accommodate RoKu elementary networking issues. No WPS support. Reported to RoKu support who responded as a known issue. Other issues as I still have to reset and re-enter my credentials each day I access the NetFlix channel which is painful using the RoKu remote. Using RoKu App with keyboard is useless for entering crendentials.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had already owned a Roku 3 and thought we would use this in our bedroom. A little slower on the initial turn-on, but once up and running, it is as fast as the Roku 3. Very satisfied with this product.
