The RoKu was a life saver from spending worthless money on a cable bill. PPL spend thousands of dollars monthly for cable. I'm not a big TV watcher so the RoKu is great for me. The RoKu was user friendly. I'm very satisfied! Theres only one thing RoKu sometimes take longer to upload. Other than that no issues.

Great Features, Slow Interface

I bought this to replace an older Roku unit. The UI changes were nice and made the device easier to use, but it came at the cost of speed. Speeds of the apps are now too slow for my tastes, but if you were to use only one app it is not that bad.
The other issue I have is the remote has extra buttons but they do not seem to be programmable. The apps I use do not work with these buttons. It would be nice to have these programmable by the end user.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Challenging but good

I bought this just over a month ago. It was a tough setup. Not going to lie to you. I had to update my wireless router first and then for some reason Roku decided to finally find my wireless connection. Once it found it, I no longer had issues

Nice and small but pretty slow

Have the Roku 3 and the streaming stick. ROku 3 is across the house and the streaming stick is right by the wireless router. Roku 3 is notably faster even at such a distance. I would recommend the Roku 3 over the stick.
