My first Roku was the box type that I was happy with, but it was costly. I then tried another brands streaming stick that was about 60 percent less, but found that the software was problematic and I couldn't stream amazon. So when the Roku stick came out with Amazon available, I bought it right away. It's cost was very reasonable and I haven't had any problems. We have ditched cable. The only issue my family has is that we can't get an nfl channel that shows games. The remote is easy and not confusing. Couldn't be happier with such an economical purchase.

Fast, discrete, easy to setup

I was looking for a "smart" option add on for my bedroom TV. I had done research and the Roku Streaming Stick fit the bill perfectly. I don't like clutter, my TV is wall mounted and this fits behind the TV perfectly.

It is great for taking on vacations to hotels, etc. Works great! Just a couple of wishes, it would be nice if it had a headphone connection, off button, and automatic connection to available wifi. But these are nits, love it, easy, right priced.

In short, i LOVE it! Easy to install, works great, tons of channels to choose from (only streamer with Acorn -- my favorite channel), and Roku keeps me informed of new channels weekly. Oh yes, great price, too.

I love the compactness and the fact that it doesn't have a power cord. Having had the Roku 3 previously, I find the streaming stick to be much slower though. All in all, I love the product.
