Slow Boot, Remote connectivity horrible at best, This is A beta version in my opinion compared to the original unit. WEAK!!!

I purchased a new flat screen 3 years ago because it had built in programs, and it promised updates. Even 3 years later I am not able to get all the apps to cover the very basic of streaming sites. Frustrated, I just lived with the issue thinking there was no resolution short of buying a new TV. That is until I found the Roku Streaming Stick. I just plugged it into the HDMI port and the USB port on my TV, ran the short setup and I now have access to all of my streaming sites (and a lot more to choose from). Works even better than the smart apps on my TV – and - much easier to control. Thank You, Roku.

Streaming Stick not a Roku 3

We own 2 Roku 3 and 1 Roku Streaming Stick devices. The Roku 3's have worked flawlessly for a year and 8 months respectively. The first Streaming Stick worked for 30 minutes and was quickly replaced under warranty. The replacement has locked up half a dozen times and required a power cycle each time. When it's working the Stick streams flawlessly. Navigation within 'My Channels' is half the speed of a Roku 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
