Streaming with Roku is fun!

If you can break the chains of slavery to commercial TV you will like Roku Streaming Stick. It takes some patience to get it working right, but when it and your modem and your cable cooperate together, it is awesome. I like the vast variety of videos out there on Amazon Prime, NetFlix, and dozens of other networks available, most of which are either free or very cheap, compared to cable TV. You can subscribe to 3 to 5 networks by the year and still be spending less than cable TV subscriptions. Sometimes a lot less.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased my ROKU a few months ago it was easy setup and I am extremely please with it especially the android remote app I love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

More then i expected

Speed is great on this product i think it is the way the new software interface is setup quick and well organized.. Four nice surprises to see
1. 2.4g and 5g
2. 1080
3. Surround Sound support sound bars
4. Software Redesign
Wifi and remote work great even when the unit is behind the TV in the HDMI, The USB power is a nice feature also since i have multiple USB Wall Sockets it is great..
I was worried since the stick was behind my TV 1 the remote would not always work (but does with not issues) 2 the signal from my router would not be as strong (but it does well on that also)
The Learning remote is great its nice to have no more rebooting the roku if the remote stops just push the learn button and your ready to go
The Roku App also is very nice feature which was available in the past
Only negative i can see is with some of your wall mounted TVs if you HDMI connection is on the back you cannot get your TV to sit Flat on the wall the you need a HDMI L or a HDMI M to F cable to get it to fit correctly.That's not a performance issue just a design issue i am sure in the future that will be corrected.

The product does everything it says it will, just slower than I thought it would be. Remote feels cheaply made. I probably would have went with one of the other Rokus (2 or 3) if they are faster and the remote feels better made.
