Simple set up and awesome streaming stick.

Bought HMDI roku streaming stick in May'14. Set up process was simple to complete, never issues so far. Remote which came with roku streaming stick is handy. I watch Netflix,youtube, ESPN, HBO, VUDU on roku. Have no complaints so far. You can use your smart phone as an alternative remote. Over all would recommend this to my friends and family.

We've had a Roku since they first came out, and when we got our new TV for the bedroom, we were looking for something we could use to stream our favorite shows. When we read that Roku had a streaming stick, we bought it immediately! It offers everything that we need and even has an easy to use remote. We love it!!!

Amazing and light product

If your TV has an HDMI port and a USB port, then get this thing. It runs off of the tv's own power, (it does take up both ports, but oh well). Lightning fast connections to various video sources and a good selection of programming.

I got the streaming stick because I wanted to spend less, it's a great option I really don't see a difference between this and the roku 3 (what my mom has). Works amazing and easily transportable.

Somewhat unresponsive

I had a Roku box before I bought the Roku stick, and had problems with the box responding to the remote. In addition, the Roku box had to be in the same room with my router, and there couldn't be ANYTHING between the Roku and the router or the signal did not reach the box. I found that downloading the Roku app on my iPhone worked better as a remote than the Roku remote did. When I moved, I lost the power cord and decided to buy the Roku stick as a replacement. It plugs into an HDMI port in the rear of my television, but in order to get it to work, I have to wiggle it around every darn time I want to use it, and once again, the stick is unresponsive to the remote 90% of the time. When it works right, it's fairly good, but most of the time it doesn't work right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features, it is my 3rd Roku

I bought this stick vs. the box for a 3rd TV set. It works great and has eliminated the small box that had to set on/near the TV. A couple of times I have had to reboot it - but it could be operator error. I love that it just sticks into the back of the TV -

This is a great, fast, easy-to-setup little powerhouse that installed in minutes (especially with the Android app that allowed me to use my phone's keyboard). It keeps the signal perfectly, plays Amazon Prime and Netflix fast and seamlessly, and easily transports to the cottage and back and keeps both Wi-Fi settings to reconnect instantly.

I bought my Roku Stick a few months ago and I love it! No need for my annual xbox membership just to watch HULU and Netflix! In fact the Roku stick was cheaper than the annual xbox membership! Works great, channel choices are well varied, MGO movies offers a vast variety! My sister bought a Google Chromecast but after she saw my Roku, she took it back and got a roku stick for herself!
