We have bought 5 Rokus over the years. 4 still work. Only one doesn't and that was from lightning. The Stick works as expected. Newest features are slight improvements over a simple and easy to use device. I like the lack of wires since the TV and this Roku are moved around for outdoor movie night and garage use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

convenient to use but loses connectivity

I bought the stick for a second tv as I have the roku 3 on my larger tv. I like the convenience of the stick but it seems to lose connectivity with my router frequently. I usually have to unplug and plug it back in to reconnect it. It is only about 30 feet from my router

No Lag, stays hidden.

Great little device for streaming to my secondary TV. Stick feature means it stays out of site but still delivers fast streaming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this thing, it works great, I live out in the country and have been downloading tv shows to watch, but this is much easier and better. Great invention

sluggish responsivity

Works great when responding. 9/10 uses I had to wait a long tome for the devise to initialize and report the main screen. Several times I i had to remove and rei aert into another hdmi port to get it to respons.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good concept but bad reception

I was so excited to get this as a gift for my mother but when we hooked it up it would not connect to the Wifi. We called tech support and they were very nice and walked us through making same changes in a couple of menus and after about 20 minutes it was working. It worked great for a few hours and then when the tv was turned off and back on the signal was lost again and we had to repeat the whole process. After trying it on a few different tvs we tried using it on a tv that was right next to the wireless router and it worked flawlessly. So our conclusion was that it was not getting good reception behind the tv that was in the next room away from direct line of the router. We ultimately returned the stick and got a box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
