The streaming stick is great. With that said what I don't like about ANY of the newer Roku products is that I don't have the option to "Play from Beginning" on Netflix. Same on my smart TV. Sometimes I'll fall asleep after I've started something and it's really difficult to "rewind" to the beginning. So, I'm using my old Roku box and have given my streaming stick to my granddaughter.

I've owned at least one of every generation of ROKU unit and didn't expect much from the streaming stick, but this product kicks butt! The WiFi performs flawlessly for me.

I really wanted the small stick for my sewing/quilting studio. Sadly it would not work that far away from the signal source and yes I think I exhausted all my options.
I prefer to watch YouYube and Netflix while working as I do more listening than watching. I am considering ordering the Roku 1 as it is reasonably priced. I have n a lower room floor I can try before I buy. I love it! I love the easy to use features as grandpa is not tech literate and grandma will be stuck with the installation.

Great Roku with some minor annoyances

It's as good as my previous Roku (Roku 2 XD). There are a couple of things that are a bit annoying, or could be improved, but are not deal breakers. Some have been pointed out already: the size/girth makes it difficult to use adjacent HDMI plugs; the power cord connection adds another inch to its depth making it difficult for rear-facing HDMI ports; and the remote has to reconnect to the unit after a while, and it takes a few seconds to respond to input. One improvement I would like to have is to be able to use my phone's Roku App, to communicate with the stick. The app works AFTER you've set up the stick and wifi with the included remote. If you lose the remote (or take the stick somewhere new and forget the remote), you're out of luck. Perhaps using Bluetooth?

only flaw appears when movies left on pause for any length of time. both the roku and router need to be restarted to proceed with the movie.

Lots of power in a small package

This is my third Roku and by far the best yet. It is compact, portable, ridiculously simple to set up and a 100% great product.

Since getting the Roku Stick I have cut household costs by replacing cable television services! I can effortlessly stream tv shows, movies and more straight to my TV and even control it with my iPhone and iPad! In the very near future I do plan to purchase other Roku products to stream to the other TV's in my home!

I bought this about 2 months ago an i was very suprised how you had to actually buy each channel or have to have cable tv to down load some:( we do buy movies ever once in awhile but most of them are the same price to buy in store:( im goin to say recommend but i will also state to them how you have to buy the diffrent channels and movies
