Great Device

I recently purchased the Roku device and I am very pleased with it so far. I have an adroid phone and used to have an Apple TV which I couldn't sync to so this device makes it much more fun for me to be able to stream stuff from my phone. My only downfall that I have found so far is that in the HBO GO and NETFLIX apps the search screens seem to be harder to find shows/movies than it was on the apple TV. and with the YouTube app I cannot use the vitrual keyboard on my phone from the Roku app and have to use the remote to search for items which takes quite a bit of time. Other than those few things I am incredible pleased with the device.

A little disappointed

I bought this 'stick' to replace an older Roku unit which was working satisfactorily because the stick does not need line-of-sight access for the remote. However, it is still a little unresponsive. Along with its wall outlet power, it is bulkier than I had expected. It seems to get lost in space regularly and needs to be rebooted which I never had to do with my older model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I own 5 Rokus, 2 are Sticks I like the Sticks best

They have all the channels you would want and they don't take up any space, anywhere. You can even travel with them. I find the family watches Roku more than subscriptions TV now, better selections of what to watch.

FINALLY!

This was definitely a good investment. My fiance bought me a vizio smart tv for fathers day and it was great for streaming netflix and amazon but when I called customer support, they said there was no way to add any more apps than what was already included with the tv. I have a WWE network account and really wanted to be able to watch it on my tv. So we returned the tv and just got a regular HDTV and I purchased the Roku stick. Not only am I able to get the WWE network, Netflix, and Amazon, but many more channels than what vizio had to offer. It can be a bit slow when loading apps but all in all I think it was the best thing for what I wanted to use it for.

Remote easy to use

With 200+ channels on local cable TV my wife and I often use ROKU to find what we want to watch. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Recently we went on a world tour with History and National Geographic. Loved it!!!!

Purchased our Roku Streaming Stick upon advice from sales associate. Best money I ever spent! This little jewel was so easy to set up. Anyone can do this and have access to some awesome streaming movies and televisions shows. I highly recommend the Roku to even the most technically challenged among us!
