Love the Streaming Stick!

I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick in March, and so far I LOVE it! I cannot recommend it enough. I thought I was going to have to buy a new DVD player to get the streaming services that I wanted, but I don't have to because of the Streaming Stick. Now, I have more streaming services than I ever thought possible and have also dropped my premium movie cable channels to save money. Do yourself a favor and buy this product!

Don't confuse with the MHL version. Luckily my TV had a USB port to power it. The menu was simple and channels easy to navigate through. I bought it because it has the Major League Soccer channel. The remote is bulky and slow in response. Good think I can use my iPhone Roku Remote App. Boot up time on my device takes quite long. Other than that Netflix, Crackle, and other channels stream smoothly.

Rarely works

I have had this for about 4 months now and I am constantly having to wiggle it to get it to work. I have tried it in four tv's and two computers and it acts like it has a short in it. I bought the USB stick instead of the box for convienence but if it isn't going to work when I want it, then the convenience factor has been shot out of the window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My daughter enjoys watching Netflix on her roku. It beat the price of a streaming DVD wifi player and actually works better on the streaming quality than a smart tv and/or DVD player.

I have both types of Roku devices I do not like the stick as much as the other original one because there seems to be a lot of buffering when I'm streaming video with the stick

Very slow to connect...very frustrating...

It is very slow to connect...I have high speed internet...I have heard from others that this is an issue..I literally walk away and then it comes on to the different channels..I hit Netflix which seems to be the worst...it takes minutes to connect to that one..
