Excellent choice over Cable

We bought this device to replace our growing cable bill. We have almost all of the features of the cable and it's better. Less Commercials, more shows that we like. Not the same repeats over and over. Can shut it off and start again right where we left off. At first it's a little confusing, but, once you start figuring it out it just keeps getting better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect streaming device!

Well, I switch from an internet ready Sony Blu-Ray player that was basically worthless when it came to streaming. Apparently, SONY uses its own proxy servers for streaming. Result: lagging, buffering, going crazy in my part.
The ROKU stick ist super convenient and just delivers. No unusual buggering, no lagging. Reception of the remote is perfect. Couldn't ask for more.

The Roku stick takes about 5 minutes to setup and gives many free and paid options for viewing. Works great!

The Roku streaming stick is just about perfect. It's small, it doesn't require a separate power cord because of the USB power, and the video quality is very high. You can take this on the road because of its tiny form factor. Now just need a few more sports options such as NBC Sports and Fox Sports.

Nothing easier in this world

I am not a particularly tech savvy person. I have to have help setting up almost everything. I get frustrated with my wifi, modem, DVR, even land line phone. With Roku, I plugged it in and within 15 minutes had my Prime account hooked up. I was considering Fire TV, but I'm glad I tried Roku instead.

I received the stick as a gift for Father's Day. While I am pleased with the capabilities of the stick I find the boot up time to be rather long.
