WE HAVE HAD OUR ROKU STICK FOR ABOUT TWO MONTHS AND LOVE THE EASE IN WHICH IT GUIDES YOU THROUGH THE VARIOUS MENUES.
IT WORKS SEEMLESSLY WHITH OTHER STREAMING PROGRAMS SUCH AS HULU PLUS.

I could no longer get TV because we were out among the deep tall piney woods of East Texas. Access to satellites is not available anywhere on our property, unless we took down several trees. No antenna worked, no dish. And then we were introduced to Roku. It works off our wi-fi, and NOW we can get everything we want! Hooray Roku.

Great alternative to cable

I have had my Roku all summer and have put it to good use. I have both this and a Chromecast and much prefer the Roku. The available content is much more vast on the Roku and the included remote just seems more familiar than having to use a smartphone like with a Chromecast. My TV is not smart and I no longer have satellite or cable due to the cost, so I was limited to what was on broadcast TV or whatever I could pull up on my PC. If you want to ditch the cable/satellite bills the Roku is the perfect way to do it. I also rarely use Redbox anymore for rentals since the Roku makes it so much easier to just rent on the fly from home.

Poor Performance for Stick

I bought this Stick to replace an older Roku Model. I found the interface was to cumbersome to use. It extremely slow in loading. I use ROKU everyday, after trying this Stick for about 6 weeks I went back to my old Roku. The Stick has been relegated to a bottom desk drawer. Now, I'm Happy Again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product

I have been using Roku for a while, glad I purchased it. Only downside is I occasionally get a blank Roku screen, so I unplug from outlet and plug it back it so it can reset. Upside is I only get basic cable that I don't pay for, so ROKU has opened up a whole new world of TV viewing

I purchased about a month ago and I love it. No need to wait for DVD's from Netflix. It's so easy to install and easy to use.
