Streaming Stick

I bought this because of it's easy use and didn't need to have a box to run it; and I receive everything that I need. I use it on our bedroom TV, hence why I didn't want an extra box. The nice added feature is the remote for it, but if you didn't need a remote, use your phone or a tablet works as well. I would recommend this product if you need it for a small space.

Excellent for streaming video on wall mounted tvs

The Roku stick is nice because there are no cables that are needed to connect it to the television. The rf remote is nice because your HDMI is usually located on the rear of flat screen tvs which wouldn't allow for an infrared remote. I did have one problem with the stick. The amount of power needed to operate the stick is a bit more then the HDMI connector on most televisions will provide. I had to use the supplied power supply to supply power to it. If the power consumption of the unit could be lowered to the amount that an average HDMI connection would supply it would be ideal. Even so, the unit is excellent for the cost and application.

Easy to set up and use

I bought my streaming stick a few months ago and I love it! It's easy to set up and use and I love being able to watch all my streaming content on my TV. I chose the Roku because of the number of channels available (way more than other streaming devices). My only complaint is that you can't turn the streaming stick off and for some reason when it goes into sleep mode it doesn't respond to the remote. I download a remote app to my phone and that seems to wake it up. Other than that small problem it's been a great product to use!

More than I expected

I had it for about 3 weeks now, more or less, and I absolutely love it! I'm finding shows that I used to watch growing up. I also like the fact that I can pause and come back to a program or rewind. It's so much easier to follow along with a recipe now. My boyfriend bought this for me because I had to cut back on expenses and cancel my cable service. This is great because I get news, sports, weather tv shows and movies and there is no monthly fee, unless I choose to purchase a show or movie. I never new this concept existed.

Cancelled my cable and bought 2 Roku Sticks. Have worked flawlessly and were surprisingly easy to set up. Online support is excellent and answered any questions I had about the product before I purchased it. Wish everything worked as well as my Roku Sticks !!!
