Great if you're just starting out and on a budget

As a young person living on my own not making much, I'm on a serious budget. Cable or dish is not affordable. Roku plugged right into my not so smart tv and makes it a smart tv. I can search for shows or movies on my phone and then play them on my tv. I can also play music and videos stored on my phone too. I highly recommend Roku. It has so many apps, I don't ever have to get cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this as a replacement for my cable box in my office - this is perfect I have all my programs easy set up - plus all the free great programming that is offered - no problems streaming - Perfect Solution.

I have one of these in Florida as well as our home in the north. Product improvements have made it easier to have just the one setup however. This product is simply great. A better question would be: why would anyone not want to have a Roku? It really is that good.

This small (thumb drive size) is great. Easy to use, let me restate that. If you can't set this up you are electronically challenged. The only suggestions for improvement would be an on/off switch of some kind. My USB port is in the back of my receiver. I do have to lift my arm a bit for it to respond. I consider that exercise.

I bought this about three or four months ago. I like the fact that if I miss a show I can watch it the next day. I only have an issue, and that is on channel 5 kpho phoenix, az. I can not watch full episodes, just clips.
