Easy to use, and pretty reliable

The Roku Streaming Stick is my first experience with streaming. It works very well. Our main channel that we use is Hulu Plus. Every now and then I have to reboot it (i.e. unplug it, and then plug it back in again) as it occasionally gets 'stuck'. Other than that, I have no complaints, but then again, I'm just getting my feet wet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am beyond pleased with my Roku Streaming Stick. No more cable for me. Nothing aggravates me more than paying for 150 channels and not ever having anything worth watching. There is so much available though the Roku and no monthly fee.

Big gains, small faults

Video is a very good decode, better than most "smart" TVs; faults with physical length of device. The HDMI jack can become bent if TV collides with nearby objects. Is it possible to hinge the stick or include a short 1m cable to avoid this problem?

Couldn't be easier to use!!

I bought the streaming stick about a month ago. It was simple to set-up and the remote makes it easy to use. I will say that when you look at all the apps, it's a bit deceptive because most of them aren't free...even though they say free. I'm guessing they say "free" because they offer some kind of free trial. Aside from that, I knew what I was getting and it works perfectly for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I not only use it at home. I take it on trips with me. This is one of the best products I have ever purchased and the price was completely reasonable.

software buggy

when it works its ok. stops working about 15% of the time and then requires restart by power off then power on; unplug ac power to stick. looks like problems with embedded code. stick is obviously still under development; i figured it from years developing embedded software products. Heaven help the average user!!!!

This is my second Roku and I love it. I do not need regular TV anymore and was able to go down a level with my robber cable company. Clear, easy to use and reliable. Fast as lightening. Saved me from having to purchase a new smart TV.

No problems

I bought this Roku stick for the TV in the kitchen, because it has the HDMI connection. Well I read all the comments stating that this stick didn't fit correctly and that it needed an adapter, not in my case. I plugged it in, entered my password, went to the computer and entered the Roku code and I was done. 5 minutes tops. The remote is very nice, it has the speed keys, I just can't say enough about this little stick. So I now have 3 Roku's and I like this stick the best because I don't have the little box on top of the TV. If your TV has the HDMI I do suggest to buy this Roku! I love it.
