Fun toy

I bought this a while back mainly to use with the funimation app. Over all its met my expectations though I wish the batteries in the remote lasted longer than they did.Thats the only downside I found so far.It's so much better than the Chromecast stick I bought before getting this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My roku never worked and I returned it very disatisfied. I could use it maybe twice out of the 12 days I owned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only negative is the remote. It is actually a great remote, however I already have too many. If Roku offered a learning remote with both IR and RF capabilities; I would gladly pay extra for it.

Shows you can't get anywhere else

I went into some of my movie suppliers and could not watch the movie I wanted for free. Roku has alternative sites that have the same movie foe free, you just have to put up with paid commercial spots.

I was impressed with the amount of apps that where available for the device. Glad the update fixed the Netflix boot time issue. Simple to use and love the remote. Only one issue: I have to reset the device on every use since the remote won't wake it up from Sleep mode. Other then that it is a great device. Would have given 5 stars if it didn't have the issue.
