I currently have the Roku3 for our living room and needed something for the bedroom as we cut the cable some time ago. It's worked well thus far, and is great for Netflix and streaming movies with PLEX. I only have two gripes, one is the remote seems to un-pair from the device quite a bit, even with new name brand batteries. Moving my access point, and even changing bands didn't seem to help as much as I was hoping, but removing and replacing the batteries makes everything ok, but I tend to even have trouble with the App finding the device. Netflix loads a bit slower than the Roku3, but I'll attest that to a smaller footprint and lower power. I'd love to be able to not use the power cable, but such is the limitations of the T.V.
Overall, however, it's a great device for the price, especially if you don't need the capabilities of a larger Roku.
Purchased when internet tv started to not connect to wireless. No problems with the streaming stick. It works great and comes with a basic remote. Only negative is it needs to be plugged in to outlet so its an extra wire, did read that it may not require this with some TV's. Cheaper and smaller than the other devices with better interface than chrome stick, remote is handy too.
