Already had a Roku 3 unit. I can tell no difference between the two units, aside from the missing headphones option. Great value, great product!

Not Very Reliable

The flashstick is my second ROKU and it suffers the same problems as my old ROKU. When it works it is great. Now that I have had it a few months it is very slow to load and is frequently dropping out and reloading. The remote is difficult to get the signal to activate the ROKU without several repeated clicks. I am getting very frustrated and will be looking for a better system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plug it in, register and you are done. I have noticed the resolution going from high to medium(?) once in a while. Probably the speed of my internet.

Waited too long

Just purchased the streaming stick around a month ago and have already cut the cord to overpriced satellite TV. I can watch what I want, when I want, and with Hulu+ and Netflix Subscriptions I'm almost in TV heaven. Picture quality is excellent HD even with a poor 3mb/sec DSL connection. The only downside is live sports programming but I can stream must see games on the net if worse comes to worse. Will definitely be purchasing more Roku units for other tvs in the house.

Roku Stick - Only 1 drawback

I have both the Roku stick and the L1 unit. I bought the stick for my wall-mounted TV because there are no wires and it works just as good as the L1 except the response time is slower than the L1...probably because it is wireless. If it weren't for that one drawback I would have rated it 5 stars instead of only 4. All in all, both are very good products.

I was going to hook up an old laptop to my tv to watch online movies and my nephew's friend suggested ROKU. It got it & I love it.
