When it works, it works well. However, there have been many times when we have had to reboot over and over again before getting it to work properly. We have a strong wifi setup, but with some channels, the processor seems to struggle. Also, after a prolonged period of use, the unit gets hot. The hdmi plug actually bent inside the plastic shell. I used to see this sort of thing with early usb flash storage devices. Now, for some good news, our roku 3 is great. I am impressed as well with the company in that when I called to report the problem with the streaming stick, they agreed to replace it even though we were a few days outside the warranty period. That will keep us as customers as we await the roku 4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very happy that I picked this product. It is very easy to move through all the choices. I only wish they included regular Hulu and not just Hulu Plus and it would be perfect. However, that is such a small complaint, and my only one, I almost didn't mention it. I can stream from my PC and Phone very easily through the stick. Kudos!!!!

Great little gadget

it's hard to believe there's so much in this little box. it works so easily getting into a network and streaming it's little heart out. If there's anything it's lacking its the browser...or lack of a browser. I travel a lot, and use this in hotels. I have to call support every time. hotel support is starting to "get it", and the pass throughs are getting easier, but if there were only a way to accept "terms and conditions", the problem would be solved - THEN, it would be perfect. (the only negative is the remote uses the Wi-Fi...sometimes it's funky)

This thing is so easy. Very convenient. Love the added apps.
