It didn't work on the tv we wanted to put it on. It seemed like being behind the tv messed up the wireless signal and we had to go back to a Roku box. We moved it to a different tv in a different location and it worked. I love the Roku box - just wish my stick would have worked better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Efficient and cheap!

I have used this for a couple months now and extremely happy with it. I have backed my cable packages down to a minimum and will probably cancel it all together sometime soon. I don't watch TV regulary with my schedule so being able to watch shows on the Roku anytime I want and the ability to go back and finish them anytime is nice. I have had one problem with the stick which was corrected quickly by hitting reset button in remote control in battery department. The Roku staff were quick and efficient in leading me to this reset in the remote. I travel with my job and the Roku stick and my flat screen are first in the truck on every move.

I have had this about a month, easy hook up. You don't need to be super tech savvy either. There are quite a few options for streaming. i love it thus far.

i bought this not known much about it. it was easy setting it up and programming it. it has sooo many channel options so i'm never bored. and my 10 month old daughter has her own kid friendly channels. I bought two for the house and about to buy another one. I love roku. its great.

I bought this device a while back and I must say I love it. The first one I bought didn't work but the manufacturer was very cooperative in replacing it. Since then I have bought 2 more for the different TVs in my house. The price is right.
