Easy to use.

I have been using a Chromecast for Netflix, so slow and always reloading. Not one problem with the roku. We bought it to be able to stream Acorn tv, which has been wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked well for 5 months

Roku stick worked well then had remote issues that ended in the remote going completely out. Found out about the app but it's not connecting to the IP address for my modem. Troubleshoot says check settings on the roku BUT need the remote to do so which leads me back to square one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had the stick about 2 months. I have a fast internet package and it still freezes and gets stuck. Other than that I enjoy it.

I debated for a while before I purchased this but now I am so glad I did. Our cable choices were very limited so I wanted more shows to watch on my bedroom tv and just fits the bill! I especially love the Acorn channel and the shopping channels. I would highly recommend this.

We have it set up and it worked very well for a couple of weeks, then it locked up could not get it to respond to anything. We finally disconnected everything and started completely over. It started up OK. It has done it one more time . I think it is the remote. Last time we removed the batteries from the remote and replaced them. Worked fine since.

I purchased the streaming stick primarily to stream cable channels from the cable company app so I wouldn't have to rent another box to get more channels. The device was easy to install and set up and is quite easy to use. I also use it for streaming from Netflix, Amazon Prime and free movie channels. I am quite pleased with my device.
