This is our second Roku device, now both TVs have it. Being able to stream has made the TV like a new device - Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Plex media server - one could consider cutting the cord.
Already have a Roku 3 and was happy with that so I went and bought a streaming stick. Bad decision! Have had it less than a couple months if even that and already it keeps resetting itself at the start after goes to this screen then it goes back to the boot up screen over and over and over. I am 100% completely satisfied! What a piece of junk! What a waste of money
I wanted to cut the cable TV cord and what better way than with Roku. Although I am a big fan of Roku, I thought I'd give the stick a try since I wanted to eliminate cord clutter with the Roku 2 that I own. I did not realize how painfully slow it is to fire up. I ended up attaching the ac/adapter which really speeds up the process, but this defeats the purpose of going cord free.
I am very pleased with my Roku streaming stick. I purchased it for use on the TV in my study and it has performed very well. Installation was easy and searching/adding channels is both easy and fun. Will purchase another stick for use in the bedroom.
Wish it would save the pass word when changing I t from tv to tv, also if there could be away you can use one as main and add 2 or more for different tv...
